In 1969, he graduated from the Almaty State Medical Institute with a degree in Dentistry. He began his professional career as an assistant and later held the position of Associate Professor of the Department of Prosthodontics.

In 1974, he completed postgraduate studies in Moscow under the supervision of Professor V. Yu. Kurlyandsky, where he defended his Candidate of Sciences dissertation on the topic: “The Influence of Prosthetic Materials on the Enzyme Activity of Mixed Saliva.”

In 1987, he defended his Doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Special Clinical and Laboratory Substantiation of Dental Prosthetic Materials and Preventive Means, Improvement of Dental Care for Workers of the Phosphorus Plant.”

From 1989 to 2011, he headed the Department of Prosthodontics at S. D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. At the same time, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, where he paid special attention to improving the quality of specialist training. On his initiative, dental simulation laboratories and dental prosthetics centers were opened, which significantly strengthened the material and technical base of the faculty.

Professor Saurbek Ruzuddinuly has published more than 300 scientific papers, textbooks, and teaching manuals. His works on dentistry are widely used not only in our College, but also in universities and colleges of Kazakhstan, as well as in higher educational institutions of Russia.

Under the scientific supervision of the professor, about 20 Candidates and Doctors of Sciences were trained.

Today, as the founder and head of the College, Saurbek Ruzuddinuly Ruzuddinov ensures the strategic development of the institution, the implementation of modern educational technologies, and the training of highly qualified specialists. Thanks to his effective leadership, the College is successfully developing as a modern educational center setting high standards in the training of medical personnel.
